Design Philosophy
SGL takes a broad view of architecture. It values the wisdom of the past, is grounded in the present, and looks toward the future. It prioritizes specific needs of clients, while also going beyond the practicalities of an architectural program, codes and regulations, and technical construction issues. It works with an awareness of multiple contexts – cultural, historical, political, and environmental. SGL is process oriented and committed to creative discovery and problem solving.
